WHITE BOARD CAMpaigns

Tabling with white boards, asking students to write their opinions spreads DM messages and recruits new DM members at the same time!

Pick an issue students care about and write a prompt on one or two small white boards for students to write responses to.

Take a picture of each student them with the white board with their phone and yours. Use to disseminate on social media or to make a video.

Tips for Success:

• Write a prompt like “Why will you vote in this election?” or “Why are you worried about climate change?” (the cost of college, attacks on democracy etc).

• Decorate the table with a big sign (e.g. Come Tell Us What You Think!”)

• Put their pictures on DM social media.

• Ask the students to put it on their social media.

• Make a video of the students to disseminate.

• Ask other clubs to join you with their issues - environment, women’s issues, civil rights rights etc)
