Organize a concert or party for fun - but with a political message!

• Concert - Get friends or school bands to donate their time to participate in a DM concert that can include music, poetry readings etc. Between sets, DM students give two minute talks about an issue they care about, emphasizing what students can do.

• Party - Organize a party with music, games, talent nights. Mix in political messages and what students can do. DM campuses have creatively called their successful parties “DemROCKracy” or “Amps Against Apathy” or “Ain’t No Party Like a Political Party. Let’s Get Out the Vote!”

• Outreach to Clubs - Collaborate with other clubs to strengthen your coalitions and increase your event attendance.Music, fun and politics are a great combination!!!! Have information to give out and petitions to sign.DM campuses have creatively called their parties “DemROCKracy” or “Amps Against Apathy”.
