This is a really effective coordinated campaign.
It should work as follows:
1. Create a one-page newsletter (one side, black and white, looking like a newspaper; BUT with less text and perhaps a couple of graphics.) It should be visually pleasing and easily readable, with plenty of white space. Ideally, each newsletter will mention three things: a) a political problem b)a solution and c) how to get involved with your DM with contact information (QR code).
2. Give each DM member enough copies to distribute in their classes. They should arrive at the classroom before the start of the class and place them on the seats. The basic idea is for people to read it while they are waiting for classes to begin. If someone feels uncomfortable doing this in their own class, they just put them on desks in a different classroom. Be sure to pick up any copies left around so you can give them to someone else!
3) OR DM members can hand these out when tabling OR stand outside a dining hall and give the newsletters out. Be sure to pick up any copies left around so you can give them to someone else!
4) Hand this project over to a DM sub-committee or a couple of DM members who can write a newsletter for one month, and then a different group can create one the next month.
Be sure to use your OWN university name and the DM logo. Personalize it for your campus as much as you can.
